Sonu Rao is a passionate pianist currently studying with Dr. Kathleen Bondurant. She has been playing piano for over eight years and previously studied with Ms. Elena Orduyan for six years. Along with piano, Sonu also played the saxophone for two years, which helped her develop a deeper appreciation for different musical styles. A lifelong learner, Sonu taught herself music theory through ABRSM Grades 1 - 5, gaining a strong understanding of how to make complex topics simple and fun. She loves helping others discover their own musical potential and believes that learning music should always be creative, encouraging, and rewarding.
